Show don't tell writing

Hello every one it is Noah here this is my first post of 2018 at my new school. In writing we have been doing show don't tell writing on monuments or tourist attractions and I choose the Statue of liberty. Here is my writing on the statue of liberty, ENJOY:)

When we got off the fairy we looked around then our tummy sensed that we were hungry so we walked over to where some corn dogs were sold, When I munched down on a corn dog my taste buds where infused with the taste great taste. When we were finished we decided to take one look when My ears sensed countless of people talking and laughing away Suddenly the fairy's horn bursted out with a big yell. When we started the 354 step climb butterflies entered my tummy, when we were at the top my legs almost crumbled from how nervous I was. When we looked down the people where like little dots scuttling around. We had had enough of the top so we headed back down when CRASH! A umangise wave came in and splashed heaps of people. Finally we had reached the bottom, my legs felt like jelly and I could hardly stand up. THE END!!

PBL

Hi, Noah here. I have come back and thankfully I am in 1 piece. It is 2018 people. Now in PBL we have been taking turns at different teachers and learning different things. There were 4 and they were brain science, nutrition, mindfulness and physical activity. My favourite one would have been physical activity or nutrition. Now we are doing action plans. We had to think of a question. Me and my friend Lewis's question Is what drills are good for cricket? RECIPES GROUP

For the last 2 weeks for writing I was in recipes. The first thing we did was how to make a marmite sandwich and so on. The last thing we did was make lollie cake, even though it was a bit chunky it was still great. My job of helping was to crush the biscuits which was the best. SCHOOL CRICKET

School Cricket. Every second Friday for 2 more days the A team cricket team which i'm in plays a game of cricket against another school and we play at different schools and not ours. the first game we played we lost but we took the lose and had a great time. oh im editing this now and yesterday a guy called Will from Shirley gave us a training session I want to say a big thanks to Ben, Will, Corben and Miss Hanson for giving up there time to coach the A team. good luck to the A team and

KAPA HAKA

Are you interested in Kapa Haka? Well this is for you! On Thursdays, Mrs Earl, Miss Hanson and Matoa Makaa takes a club called Kapa Haka. Recently the SFOA group went to the 2017 Cultural Festival and that was a great time in my opinion. CODE CLUB AND SCRATCH!

CODE CLUB AND SCRATCH!  Every Friday lunch and Tuesday after school Miss Hanson and a heap of over teachers take a club called code club. I go on Tuesdays after school and that is probably the best one to go to. I am up to boat race and it looks fun! Here is the boat race so you can play.
