hello people, it has been a while but I am back and have something to share! in maths, I and some of my mates have been working with a small robot called Mbot! What this robot is is a little bot that you can programme using an app called mlink and u can make it change the led light colours, make it move around, and make noises! sadly my video of our dance we made mbot do isn't working but I have some screenshots of the coding!
I was a pupil at Marshland School and this blog is where I shared my learning. This blog has been archived, no further content will be uploaded or added. You are welcome to continue viewing posts, however commenting has been disabled.

Triangle fractals
Hi bloggers! its been a while but I am here for another blog post, for you today I have my triangles fractal that we have done in maths. you may ask... What is afarctal? In mathematics, a fractal is a self-similar subset of Euclidean space whose fractal dimension strictly exceeds its topological dimension. Fractals appear the same at different levels, as illustrated in successive magnifications of the Mandelbrot set. here is a picture of the one I made and a digital fractal.

Water: We had 270ml of water in the rocket. and then on the second flight, we bumped it up to 300
Psi: We had 60 psi for the rocket
Flight success rating out of 10: 7.5 out of 10

Week 10 mashup
Today I have my mashup for week 1o to share! first up I have my horror poster that we made on the movie hocus pocus we watched for our genre study. The movie is about these teenagers and this little girl on Halloween going to this ancient witches house on the night of Halloween, one of the teenager's lights a special candle that has a black flame and will summon the old spirits of the 3 witches who lived in the house. I don't want to spoil too much but that is a pretty brief run down. That is my poster.

Dope week 5 mash up
what we did was Mr g our maths teacher set us some questions and we had to solve them using kaggle, we put them into the text bar and then it would answer it, here is a quick photo of what the questions looked like in kaggle, that is how we had to put the question into kaggle and in the black box is the answer. I have really enjoyed using kaggle as it is very easy and fun to use and hope that we can keep using it.
Drippy android robot
I started off with two cylinders and sized them down to 12x10 and made them the legs then made a torso from another cylinder and sized it to 23x17 then got another to cylinders for the arms and changed them to 7x7 then got a sphere and just moved that up to the top of the torso, for the eyes I got two cubes and sized them right down to 6x3 and for a hat I grabbed a cone and moved that on top of his head

Book review for distance learning at home
the book is about Brendon's life growing up and how he and also his brother Nathan grew as cricket stars. It is a great book if you are into cricket and is really funny so I recommend it. it really tells about Brendon himself on and of the field and since he is one of my favourite players it was really interesting to see what his childhood was like. If I had to give it a rating I would give it 5 out of 5.
I hope that you have enjoyed this book review, stay safe and be kind.
